M2000 Names Ali Erdengiz VP Business Development

SUNNYVALE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—April 20, 2005— M2000, developers of reconfigurable semiconductor intellectual property based in Paris, today named Ali Erdengiz vice president of business development, overseeing customer relationships and generating new business opportunities for the company. He will be based in the company's Sunnyvale office.

Erdengiz joins M2000 from Altera Corporation where he was senior director of HardCopy business operations. Prior to that, he was with Fujitsu Microelectronics America as director of their "Infotainment" (digital television, cable modem, and networking) product line, in charge of advanced semiconductor development. A veteran of more than 20 years in high technology design and marketing, he began his career in chip development with Thomson-CSF France (currently ST Microelectronics), before moving to Fairchild Semiconductor and National Semiconductor where he worked in both the United States and Europe.

Erdengiz holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ESME, Sudria in Paris; a master's degree in electrical engineering from Universite Paris XI; and an MBA from San Jose State University.
