Vero Software report 'excellent' MACH 2010

Vero Software, a leading provider of CAD/CAM/CAE solutions for the tooling industry, is pleased to report that MACH 2010 (7-11 June, Birmingham NEC) was one of the company’s most successful UK exhibitions. Despite visitor numbers being down when compared with the 2008 event, the attending visitors were of high-quality with a positive outlook for the future. Many visitors to the CADCAM zone claimed that the recent economic downturn had forced them to re-evaluate their existing processes and provided a window of opportunity to look for more productive solutions.

During the exhibition, Vero were showing the latest release of its flagship product VISI 18 and also the first release of VISI PEPS-Wire which represents over 2 years of development and combines the class-leading EDM technology of PEPS Wire with Vero’s Parasolid based geometry-engine.

Ralph Ehoff, UK Country Manager concludes, "This year's MACH exhibition far exceeded our expectations where many of the show visitors were decision makers with buying intent. Indeed, one customer placed an order for a new machine tool at the show and at the same time, ordered an additional seat of machining software to drive it there and then. We met many other prospective customers and look forward to developing their interest in our products in due course. We have had an excellent first quarter in 2010 and expect that this upward business trend to continue, but there can be little doubt that we are looking forward to an even better 2010 thanks to this year's MACH exhibition."
