Deal designates FEINMESS GmbH & Co. KG an authorized reseller, service and support provider for Xygent's Xact Technology software products

Wetzlar, Germany (Oct. 16, 2001)-Xygent GmbH, a subsidiary of Xygent Inc., developer and distributor of the world's first and only enterprise-wide metrology architecture and applications suite, has signed its first Xact Technology Provider (XTP) agreement in Germany with FEINMESS GmbH & Co. KG. Under the terms of the non-exclusive agreement, FEINMESS, located in Bad Endbach, Hessen, becomes an authorized reseller as well as front-line service and support provider for Xygent's Xact Technolgy software products throughout Germany and some dedicated European enterprises.

Designed to run with Xygent's enterprise-wide XactCOM architecture, Xact products, such as XactMeasure(r) for CMMs and XactCNC(tm) for CNC tooling machines, support the full integration of dimensional inspection with manufacturing operations, allowing manufacturers to move beyond simple data gathering to a more complete understanding of how processes actually work.
