December 6, 2002 -- With the acquisition of the machining STRATEGIST product by Vero, events have taken a turn on the world stage.

Don Babbs CEO of the VI Group plc and Mr Ho-Yeon Hwang Managing Director of NC Works have reached an agreement for NC Works to continue as the exclusive distributor for machining STRATEGIST and commence as the exclusive distributor of VISI-Series for South Korea.

Machining Strategist has proved to be very popular in South Korea, so this move secures the future for the many machining STRATEGIST users in South Korea and assures them of a clear development path for new revisions of machining STRATEGIST, the next one of which is promised for early 2003.

Now that NC Works can also supply VISI-Series they will be able to provide a total mould solution to their customers with the strong sales and technical resources available at NC Works.

Already a team of engineers from NC Works has been to the Vero headquarters in Stroud for VISI-Series training so that they can offer their users the best possible local technical support.

The aim for NC Works is for VISI-Series to be the No 1 product for tool design in Korea within the next two years.

The development of this product will be accelerated with the extra resources of the VI Group and the addition of VISI-Modelling and VISI-Mould will bring big benefits to many Korean mould and die customers.”
