Silvaco International and Chungbuk Technopark South Korea Sign Collaboration Agreement

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Jun 18, 2008 -- Chungbuk Technopark (CBTP) SoC R&D Center in South Korea and Silvaco International have signed a multi-year Memorandum of Understanding for technical collaboration in the semiconductor field. The agreement was signed by Dr. JuSeok Lee on behalf of CBTP and Dr. Ivan Pesic on behalf of Silvaco.

Silvaco will provide technical information to CBTP for advanced Analog, RF, Mixed Signal, and Process and Device technologies. Silvaco also commits to providing long-term support for these technologies to customers in Korea. CBTP will also provide marketing of and maintenance for Silvaco EDA Tools to Korean fabless companies and foundries.

"CBTP is also eager to cooperate with Simucad Design Automation in developing Analog, Mixed Signal, and RF integrated circuits," said Dr. JuSeok Lee. "This strategic collaboration will accelerate growth in the high tech semiconductor arena in Korea."
