GM’s Global Product Development Process Information Officer, Terry Kline, to Keynote at PLM Road Map 2008

Stamford, CT, For Immediate Release – Collaborative Product Development Associates (CPDA), a provider of critical analyses for PLM decisions, announces that Terry Kline, Global Product Development Process Information Officer, General Motors Corporation, will join Lockheed Martin’s Christopher L. Blake, Siemens PLM Software’s Stephen Bashada, and HP’s Christian Verstraete as a keynote speaker at its annual PLM Road Map conference, to be held at The Inn at St. John's, outside of Detroit, Michigan on September 23 and 24.

GM Global Product Development now operates as one global organization rather than regional development centers. Information Systems and Services (IS&S) continues to play a significant role in the ongoing transformation, and addresses the ever-pressing challenge of helping optimize virtual product development on a global basis. IS&S will continue its legacy of innovation and break-through implementations as GM moves into its second century of success.

In his presentation, Using IT to Optimize Global Product Development, Terry Kline will share characteristics of what this means for specific high-impact product development disciplines such as simulation and mechatronics. As part of the presentation he will also share challenges and insights associated with delivering results in a most complex environment.

Now in its 15th year, PLM Road Map™ 2008 is a strategic conference focused on the critical tradeoffs that shape product development. PLM Road Map™ 2008 will enable attendees to explore first hand the progress, opportunities, and roadblocks leading-edge end-users are confronting.
