Vero Signs Reseller for the Middle East

Vero Software Plc. (AIM: VERO), a leading supplier of CAD/CAM software, is pleased to announce Kenana for Engineering and Trading as a reseller for the Egyptian and Middle East market.

Based in Nasr City, Cairo, Kenana started as a training and consultancy centre in 2007 with a vision to become a leader in providing industrial Software and CNC solutions to the Middle East.

Ahmed Baghdady, Exclusive Manager comments “The Egyptian market includes companies that already have good solutions; including software, machining centres and reverse engineering systems. We are in a continuous process of evaluating new products and were looking for a system that covered all aspects of the engineering and manufacturing spectrum. To be able to compete we must be able to provide a software solution that improves on their current productivity - We evaluated many systems and selected VISI as the backbone of our organisation.”

Starting with 3 engineers, Kenana now employs 6 staff and plans to sell Vero’s software solutions throughout the Egyptian and Middle East market, with further plans to expand into Saudi Arabia.

On a recent training trip to Vero’s UK head office, Manal Ahmed, Marketing Manager for Kenana claims “We found that the complete Vero team including support, marketing and sales are more than a team, they are a family….. Whenever we needed support we get it.”

Commenting on the collaboration, Operations Director, Richard Youhill explains “The Egyptian market presents many interesting opportunities to us and is one that will benefit greatly from our products. We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with an organisation such as Kenana as they have a great deal of knowledge and experience of the local market and their needs.”

About Vero Software Plc
The company creates, owns and distributes software for aiding the design and manufacturing process in specific sectors of the industry. The specific sectors include the design and manufacture of plastic injection moulds, sheet metal stamping dies, progressive dies, shoe moulds, electrode production and others. These widespread product types are in turn to be found in a multitude of manufacturing industry sectors such as automotive, electronic, medical, white goods and aerospace.

The original Vero Software company was formed in Italy in 1988 by four engineers, each with many years of computer aided design and manufacturing experience. The initial products were marketed under the VISI CAD and VISI CAM names to meet the increasing demands for advanced yet practical software solutions in the mechanical design and production environments.

The company firmly believes that step gains in productivity can be made by building as much knowledge of specific design and machining processes within it's software as possible. This philosophy of productivity through specialisation has led to new applications in the design of mould tools for plastic injection and progressive dies.
