Autodesk Names SolidCAD Americas Partner of the Quarter

Reseller Recognized for Sales Performance, Customer Support and Expansion

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) announced today that SolidCAD has been selected as Partner of the Quarter for FYQ1 from among more than 100 resellers throughout the Americas. The designation recognizes SolidCAD not only for its sales performance and outstanding customer service, but also for the growth of its operations and its investment in the business of selling Autodesk software.

Headquartered in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, SolidCAD is an Authorized Training Center (ATC) and designated by Autodesk as a Premier Solutions Provider (PSP) offering proven and measurable technical capabilities for the manufacturing and architecture, engineering and construction industries. SolidCAD has earned honors from Autodesk several times over the last five years for its expertise with respect to Autodesk solutions for manufacturing and building sectors. SolidCAD delivers added value throughout the life of a technology investment, leverages long-standing relationships with clients and provides highest-quality products and services.

"For more than 15 years, SolidCAD has provided our customers with training, implementation and customization to help them make the most of their investment in Autodesk software solutions," said Michael Kugan, president and co-founder of SolidCAD. "Being recognized as 'Partner of the Quarter' is great validation for our commitment, and our reward lies in satisfied customers and steady growth."

SolidCAD serves customers in industries including general design; architecture, engineering and construction; manufacturing; and media and entertainment. Application specialists comprise a third of SolidCAD's staff, and the company offers its own premium support package. Providing much more than out-of-the-box solutions, SolidCAD aligns with strong partners and quality people who share core values and take a meaningful stake in collective accomplishments.

"Reseller partners like SolidCAD are vital to Autodesk, and a key reason that our vertical solutions sales were four times higher in fiscal 2007 than in fiscal 2006," said Steven Blum, senior vice president, Americas Sales, Autodesk. "SolidCAD's performance demonstrates the value of going above and beyond in its dedication to its customers and its investment in its business."

The Partner of the Quarter designation is based on factors including quality of customer service and support, overall sales, vertical sales and overall growth.
