Cyon Research Adds Senior Analyst to Team Industry Veteran Jack Ring joins Engineering Software Consultancy

 Bethesda, MD June 06, 2007 -- Cyon Research Corporation, a leading provider of analysis and consulting for engineering technology markets, today announced that Jack Ring has joined its team of experts on business and technology issues as a senior analyst. Ring brings fifty years of experience in the aerospace, industrial, commercial and public sectors, leading product, process and systems development as well as competitive intelligence, market research and strategy development. His employers and clients have included GE Aerospace, Honeywell Computer Systems, Edelbrock, Ascent Logic, IBM Object Technology Practice, and more than a dozen high-tech startups.

In 2003, he was named Fellow of the International Council on Systems Engineering, (INCOSE), where Ring co-founded and co-chaired the Intelligent Enterprises Working Group, and now serves as Vice-Chair of the Fellows Committee.

Ring participates in several other professional associations: the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society; International Systems Science Society; Society for Design and Process Science; the Association of Knowledgework; the International Society for Performance Improvement; the Systems Dynamics Society, and Society of Organizational Learning. He has presented more that 50 papers, panels, and tutorials at international systems conferences.
