Doosan Infracore Cuts Costs With PLM From IBM and Dassault Syst�s

SEOUL, KOREA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Oct 27, 2006 -- IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Dassault Systèmes (DS) (NASDAQ: DASTY) (Euronext Paris: #13065) (PARIS: DSY), a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that Doosan Infracore, a leading Korean machining company, has successfully rolled out its PLM enterprise solution, leveraging the strengths of CATIA and ENOVIA VPLM. The company estimates that cost savings will amount to 2.3 Billion South Korean Won per year (approx. $2.4 million), through increased accuracy and flexibility in managing design and engineering changes in a virtual 3D environment.
