Enigma Works With Oracle For Boosting Aerospace And Defense Maintenance Efficiency

PHOENIX—(BUSINESS WIRE)—April 25, 2006— Enigma Inc., the leader in aftermarket service and support technology, today announced that they are working with Oracle to integrate the Enigma 3C(R) Platform with Oracle(R) Complex MRO. The resulting integration will improve the maintenance efficiency of complex equipment service providers. With this integration, Enigma becomes an active member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork.

Integrating the Enigma 3C Platform with the Oracle Complex MRO product provides an out-of-the-box solution that helps reduce operating costs and increase productivity for maintenance and engineering operations. Specifically designed for servicing aerospace and defense equipment, the solution will help decrease maintenance turn times, increase asset availability and improve regulatory compliance. Unlike other solutions that involve a patchwork of technology and require significant implementation services, the new solution quickly, easily and affordably integrates into existing IT architectures and workflows delivering a one-stop-shop maintenance solution that can be operational in less than six months.

"Customers have been looking for a truly integrated and easy-to-deploy solution that meets today's complex MRO needs," said Rick Jewell, senior vice president, Applications Development, Oracle. "Enigma, with its market-proven platform for delivering critical troubleshooting, repair and parts information, brings a vital piece of that solution to the table. By integrating Enigma with the Oracle Complex MRO solution, we are helping to drive down the cost and complexity of owning and operating aerospace and defense equipment."

This solution provides MRO technicians with the tools to connect Oracle Complex MRO's extensive configuration management, engineering and maintenance planning functionality with Enigma's maintenance information and execution system in a variety of settings, including wireless, disconnected and online environments. By providing complete, accurate and timely information at every phase throughout the MRO process, this integrated offering allows maintenance planners and technicians to efficiently schedule, plan and perform service on equipment with high levels of quality and consistency. Key benefits of this joint solution include real-time access to asset utilization histories, operating conditions and equipment status. Furthermore, this solution enables MRO service providers to contain costs, produce more accurate MRO and material planning forecasts, help achieve compliance with safety and regulatory requirements and help increase capacity and resource utilization.

"Enigma has always been dedicated to improving the efficiency of servicing complex equipment in aerospace, defense and other industries," said Enigma CEO Jonathan Yaron. "Oracle is an ideal partner for this mission as its CMRO solution automates the critical asset management, engineering and maintenance planning processes for the entire service organization. We can now offer customers a more streamlined approach to managing the complete MRO process and increasing overall equipment uptime."
