Second SolidWorks Sheet Metal Training Book Announced

Cincinnati, OH, March 16, 2006 — Sheet Metal Guy, LLC announced it is taking advance orders for the second book, “SolidWorks for the Sheet Metal Guy - Course 2: Hole Patterns and Notches.” Following the success of the first book, this second book is a must have for the sheet metal designer using SolidWorks. By ordering before the release date, you will save over 20% from the list price of $64.95

This new book explains how to create standard and special shape holes and cutouts. Methods of generating patterns of these holes, including using tables to parametrically update the patterns as the part size changes. Also detailed in this book is the steps to customize the Design Library. How to create your own folder and fill it with the tools you use on a regular basis. It teaches you to create your own forming tools which can then be placed on any of your parts.

Feedback from people whom read the first book has been very positive. One reader wrote, “The book is very detailed and has excellent instructions. It was very easy to follow along and see exactly what was being illustrated.” Another said, “The book was easy to follow. I have bought other books to learn how to use SolidWorks. This book took me to a new level.”

“Neil and I have greatly enjoyed writing this book together. It is exciting to hear from so many people about the first book. We have been talking with many of them to find out where they feel more help is needed and incorporating that information into this new book”, said Joe Bucalo, one of the authors.

"SolidWorks for the Sheet Metal Guy" is written by Neil Bucalo and Joe Bucalo. Neil is a CAD expert, having over 14 years of experience using numerous CAD systems.
