Forsmarks Kraftgrupp will use SMARTEAM to maximize access and control over the most up-to-date plant and production data, improving its ability to efficiently meet extremely high environmental, safety and production capacity targets.
In Phase One, Forsmark will build its core PLM infrastructure, using SMARTEAM to integrate and manage multi-CAD design and engineering data related to its equipment and facilities -- replacing three existing document handling systems in the process. SMARTEAM's workflow capabilities will help Forsmark standardize business process management across enterprise teams. The solution will employ SolidEngineer's unique Documentation of Products concept -- a functional layer that adds value by incorporating out-of-the-box documentation methodology and behaviours to further speed the implementation.
Plans call for expanding the solution to integrate with the plant's extensive maintenance system, as well as bridge with its SAP ERP system.
