Thor Rated One Of 50 Best Manufacturing Companies By Industry Week

JACKSON CENTER, Ohio, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Thor Industries, Inc. (NYSE: THO) has been named by Industry Week (August 2005) as one of the 50 Best U.S. Manufacturers. Industry Week considers financial measures that pertain to operational efficiency and market success. Market metrics used by Industry Week include 3-year revenue growth, return on equity, and profit margin. Manufacturing metrics include asset turnover, inventory turnover, and return on assets.

Thor was rated by Fortune (9/6/04) as one of the "100 Fastest Growing Companies" and one of "seven stocks to bet on now." In it latest issue (8/8/05), Fortune noted that Thor is up 34% from its 8/16/04 price and again rates Thor a "buy" now.

Morningstar Inc., a leading provider of independent investment research, rated Thor A in growth, A+ in profitability, and A in financial health in the "truck makers" category.
