Lenovo Strengthens Windows Server 2003 End-of-Support Migration Program

Enhanced programs will help facilitate efficient migration onto a modern Windows Server platform

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — February 16, 2015Lenovo (SEHK:0992) (Pink Sheets:LNVGY) today announced enhancements to their Windows Server 2003 End-of-Support Program in North America, providing resellers with highly-effective tools to help customers migrate from their Windows Server 2003 environment, to the new System x and ThinkServer platforms running the latest Windows Server 2012 R2 operating platform.

The Lenovo Windows Server 2003 End-of-Support Program features discounts on popular ThinkServer configurations, incremental rebates on many TopSeller configurations and now System x configurations. In addition, Lenovo will offer special financing through Lenovo Financial Services with no payments for up to 90 days, and demo units for evaluation. Resellers will also have access to technical whitepapers to aid migration of the OS and applications, as well as sales tools, and reseller customizable customer collateral – providing everything needed to enable partners to offer services and an exceptional experience for their customers.
