echive Series 4.0 HIGHLIGHTS
Floating License Management Users can now choose to float seats of echive Explorer across their network or to purchase single seats that are locked (via software locks) to a specific PC. With an upgrade to 4.0, users can upgrade their single seats to floating seats.
User Rights echive Organizer Administrators can now define the access rights of users in the echive system. This controls who has permission for deleting, printing, redlining, and retrieving documents.
Improved File Handling Users can expect even faster handling of MS Office files: search results highlighting is almost instantaneous and pages flip as quickly as the arrow icon is selected. echive Organizer 4.0 also adds support for Adobe Acrobat Version 6.0 and email integration.
Interface Updates An updated user interface with the look and feel of MS Windows XP makes echive even easier to use. And, users can define their preferences for their start up environment.
Advanced panning and zooming options Dynamic zooming and panning controls make it effortless to view document details with a single drag of the mouse.
Redline improvements Redlining options have been enhanced to be consistent with our RasterREnew raster editing software. Additions include a dropdown box to allow selection of more complex 2-D objects. And, a new launch button makes it simple to incorporate redlines into the active file.
