GoEngineer Enables Customers to Leverage 3D data--Across the Entire Product Development Lifecycle

The company continues its mission to enhance the 3D experience for both customers and community

SALT LAKE CITY, March 4, 2014 — (PRNewswire) —  GoEngineer, a leading reseller of SolidWorks 3D CAD software, Stratasys 3D Printers, Altium EDA, CAMWorks and Agile PLM, today announced its continued success in the effort to enhance the 3D experience of its customers. "Our continued growth indicates that we are providing tangible value to our customers." says Brad Hansen, CEO of GoEngineer. "We are very proud of our teams who have worked so hard to ensure our customers success."

An unprecedented number of GoEngineer customers invested in SolidWorks Simulation software in 2013. Not surprisingly, the company was recently awarded the distinction of worldwide leader in Simulation sales at SolidWorks World 2013. Customers are able to leverage their existing 3D data by using SolidWorks' Simulation software to test product designs before manufacture. Setting up virtual environments to test strength, safety, and real-world performance improves product reliability and reduces the potential for field failures.

All told, GoEngineer earned over 20 awards at SolidWorks World 2013. "We are passionate about the 3D experience.  We actively look for opportunities to creatively engage in the communities where we live and work so that we can share that passion with others." said Hansen. "Everything we accomplished in 2013 and hope to accomplish in 2014 is tied to helping our current and future customers leverage their 3D Experience in ways they never dreamed possible."

Further, GoEngineer was named among the top resellers worldwide of both the Altium electronics design software and Stratasys 3D printers in 2013; it was also the largest reseller of CAMWorks worldwide. "We carefully select the products we represent, so that we can enable our customers to make the most of their 3D investment on all fronts," says Ken Coburn, GoEngineer's president and founder. "And our internal teams go to great lengths to properly educate and support our customers to get them up and running ASAP, with no gaps in productivity."

GoEngineer is also spreading the 3D experience into their local communities. The company participates in a number of educational outreach programs, and one of the most popular programs in 2013 was the Summer Kid's Camp. Two hundred ten teenagers were assembled into 27 classes to learn the value, excitement and possibilities of the 3D experience. "We already have parents calling to reserve a place for their teens at the 2014 camp, which is several months away!" says Jennifer Douglas, GoEngineer's VP of Marketing. "It's really fun to see the energy and excitement these kids have for 3D, and our technical teams enjoy inspiring these kids to enter into the 3D experience."
