TSMC Awards Synopsys "Partner of the Year 2012"

Recognizes Synopsys' Valuable Contributions towards Development of 20-nm Technology

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 17, 2012 — (PRNewswire) — Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS), a global leader providing software, IP and services used to accelerate innovation in chips and electronic systems, today announced that TSMC has awarded Synopsys "Partner of the Year 2012" for joint delivery of TSMC 20-nanometer Reference Flow. The award recognizes Synopsys' broad and deep technical expertise and shared commitment to the development and delivery of TSMC's 20nm reference flow. The Synopsys solution for this flow includes the Design Compiler®, IC Compiler™, StarRC™, PrimeTime® and IC Validator tools.
