PLMIG asks for help in timing the North American PLM-ERP Workshop

Oxford, England. July 31, 2012

The announcement of the PLM-ERP workshop series three weeks ago (in MCADCafe 12 July, 18 July) has generated support for three events, in the UK, Germany and the USA. The timing and location of the European workshops will be relatively easy to establish, but the North American event is less straightforward.

The American workshop will use the results of the European launch as its starting material, which leaves an 8-week window between late September and mid-November. However, there are at least two other PLM-related events in the USA in that period. The PLMIG is therefore calling for feedback on when the US workshop should be held.

The workshops will give PLM and ERP specialists the chance to work together to formalise best practices and to generate a neutral, globally-applicable PLM-ERP Handbook.  Each workshop will produce a new version of the Handbook, building on the previous results, and everyone who participates in a workshop will receive the results of the whole series.

More information is available on the PLMIG web site, and feedback can be sent via Email Contact.
