Cowlitz County, Washington, Selects Intergraph®'s Comprehensive Public Safety Solution

Intergraph's solution suite will speed response, improve operations, and save costs

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 22, 2012 — (PRNewswire) —  Cowlitz County, Washington, recently selected Intergraph®'s public safety software to reduce emergency response times and streamline operations for police, fire, and emergency medical services. The County will implement Intergraph's computer-aided dispatch (I/CAD), Mobile for Public Safety, Incident Analyst, and Business Intelligence for Public Safety, improving multi-agency collaboration and saving costs.

Intergraph's complete public safety solution will provide Cowlitz County with a multi-jurisdiction system that will optimize resources and enhance incident management. The system will enable call-handling, emergency dispatch, mobile communications, automatic vehicle location (AVL) tracking and recommendation, and dispatch-related data retrieval and analysis.

Intergraph's I/CAD system will replace Cowlitz County's current system. Using Intergraph's industry-leading solution, Cowlitz County will increase situational awareness in the 9-1-1 center.  AVL will increase the accuracy of unit suggestion and reduce resultant response times.  Mobile capabilities, including map access, mug shots, and AVL, will increase police, fire, and medical mobile personnel effectiveness and safety.

"We are confident in our decision to implement the Intergraph solution.  Intergraph has the products, services, support, experience, and reputation unmatched in the public safety software industry," said Laurie Masse, Cowlitz County ComCenter Director/MSAG Coordinator.  "We know that Intergraph will not only implement the finest solution in the industry, but will also continually keep our solution current and relevant functionally and technically for the life of the system as our needs, technology and the industry change. We have already forged a team relationship and spirit with Intergraph that will last and serve us well for many years to come."
