U.S.-based Manufacturing new Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Global competition is driving an increasing number of small to medium-sized manufacturers either out of business or out of the U.S. and into places like China. Conventional wisdom says that this type of global competition ultimately drives costs down and benefits both buyers and sellers throughout the global marketplace. But what are the hidden costs? And what are the implications for the future of the U.S. economy if we continue to export manufacturing jobs?

Well, this is an old thread and now that years have gone by we can now see where we stand on this topic. Scary, how alot of us can understand the ramifications more so than our leaders that actually make the decisions.
