Solidworks and Knowledge Based Engineering Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

KBE seems like a really good concept to save time and money.

I used the free Driveworks version that came with my Solidworks and was not impressed.

I read about one called KBMAX that supports Solidworks on this site.

Anyone know anything about them?

I have seen a demo of KBMAX, and must say that I am impressed.  It's clear to me that their developers really understand configurator technology and are making the next evolutionary step in KBE.

I don't work in a company that could use it right now (I'm freelancing), but if I did, I would be adding KBMAX to my toolbox for sure.
