Talks Will Detail How To Virtually Manage Multi-Cultural Design Teams

TROY, N.Y.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Aug. 17, 2005— Scott Virkler, vice president of business development for GlobalSpec, Inc., along with three executives from the Boeing Company will offer ways to virtually manage geographically dispersed and culturally diverse design teams during the SAE 2005 AeroTech Congress and Exhibition in Dallas, October 4, 2005.

His "New Passageways to Product and Engineering Data Discovery on the Web," will be supplemented by a talk from Peter Schoot of Boeing Commercial Airplanes on the aircraft makers' experiences during the evolution of virtual product development. To conclude, Anna Thornton and Stephen Walls of Boeing's Analytics Operations Engineering team will examine challenges in problem solving in the midst of the current multi-cultural design evolution.

The SAE 2005 AeroTech Congress and Exhibition is hosted by SAE International, the premier society dedicated to advancing mobility engineering worldwide.
