Spatial and Surfware Announce InterOp Agreement
Agreement with Spatial enables Surfware to offer suite of translator formats
Westminster, CO and Westlake Village, CA — July 21, 2003 — Spatial Corp., a Dassault Systemes (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) company and market-leading provider of 3D subsystems, and Surfware, Inc., maker of SURFCAM CAD/CAM Systems, today announced a licensing agreement allowing Surfware to utilize Spatial's InterOp products.
Spatial's InterOp Translators will be integrated as a suite within the SURFCAM product line, providing access to CATIA V5, CATIA V4, STEP, Pro/E, and Unigraphics files. SURFCAM provides its users with 2D and 3D modeling capability, and CNC programming for 2 through 5-axis mills, lathes, wire EDM, laser, plasma, and water-jet machines.
