PLEASANTON, CA, July 17, 2003 – think3, the fastest growing company in the product lifecycle management (PLM) industry, today named Tom Carozza director of PDM Marketing. His responsibilities include driving worldwide marketing strategy development and program execution for think3’s PDM product, thinkteam. He reports to Dan Meyer, vice president of worldwide marketing.
Carozza is a PLM industry veteran with 20 years of experience leading sales and marketing efforts for high-growth software and services companies. Most recently, he directed the PLM sales organization for i2 Technologies, a leader in end-to-end supply chain optimization solutions. Prior to that, he held senior management positions at Ernst & Young (now Cap Gemini Ernst & Young) where he served on the core team of E&Y’s product lifecycle management consulting business, directing marketing efforts for the group as well as managing large consulting engagements. Before joining E&Y, he was director of PDM operations for Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC, now EDS PLM Solutions) where he played a key role in the success of that company’s Metaphase Enterprise PDM product. Carozza has also held executive sales and management positions at ComputerVision and GE Calma. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Syracuse University and a Master of Science degree in management from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
