LMS International and T-Systems Announce Partnership to Extend LMS Virtual.Lab for Multi-Attribute Modeling

Leuven, Belgium and Troy, MI - June 9, 2003 - LMS International, Leuven,
Belgium, and T-Systems International GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany, have
announced their intent to establish a partnership to extend the LMS Virtual
Lab product portfolio with applications for full vehicle modeling, trimming
and pre- and post processing for crash, noise and vibration (NVH), and
durability analysis. The initial release of the new LMS Virtual.Lab
applications will be targeted at providing best-in class support for crash
analysis using LS-DYNA.

"Consistent with market demand and our strategic plan, we have formed this
relationship to expand the scope of our award-winning LMS Virtual.Lab
performance engineering platform to include assembly modeling and crash
pre-processing," says Dr. Urbain Vandeurzen, Chairman and CEO of LMS.
"T-Systems is a leading provider of analysis modeling tools with a
particular focus on the demanding German automotive market. We are confident
that, by working together, Virtual.Lab can become the single integrated
environment for end-to-end body and vehicle engineering of all critical
attributes that auto manufacturers around the world require."

"LMS has created a unique hybrid simulation environment that is fully
capable of supporting multi-attribute body and vehicle engineering for such
critical attributes as NVH, Durability, and Ride & Handling,"explained
Torsten Blomberg, T-Systems' Director of Digital Engineering Solutions. "We
are delighted to jointly develop with LMS new products for full vehicle
multi-attribute modeling, trimming and pre- and post processing for crash,
noise and vibration (NVH), and durability analysis within the LMS
Virtual.Lab portfolio."

T-Systems will benefit from greatly increased access to global markets for
our proven technology and LMS customers will benefit from the added value
brought to LMS Virtual.Lab by T-Systems more than 20 years of practical
experience.

"The first LMS Virtual.Lab products that will result from this relationship
will address the automated assembly and trimming of full vehicle models for
Crash, NVH and Durability," according to Dr. Jan Leuridan, LMS Executive
Vice President and CTO. "We are out to dramatically increase efficiency in
multi-attribute vehicle engineering, and the ability to set-up an analysis
model that can be shared by the different attributes will greatly contribute
to that."
