CAMIO Studio From LK Group to Include Spatial's 3D InterOp CATIA V5 Product

Leader in Coordinate Measuring Machine Market to Provide Improved
Programming Accuracy with Aid of Spatial Solution

WESTMINSTER, Colo. and DERBY, U.K.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2003-- Spatial Corp., a Dassault Systemes (Nasdaq: DASTY)(Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) company and market-leading provider of 3D subsystems and the marketing and support network for Dassault Systemes CAA V5 open software development platform, and LK Group, a pioneer in the coordinate measuring machine market, today announced that the latest version of CAMIO Studio will incorporate the power and accuracy of Spatial's 3D InterOp CATIA(R) V5 product.

A global leader in the manufacturing and development of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and software, LK Group focused on selecting the CATIA V5 InterOp Product to increase the programming effectiveness of CAMIO Studio for their clients in the automotive, aerospace and other manufacturing industries. The CAMIO Studio product from LK Group redefines the CAD interfacing world of CMM programming, providing a Windows interface that provides direct use of ACIS(R), CATIA, Unigraphics, and Pro-E CAD model data.

"This is another major step forward in the development of the LK CAMIO Studio Software," commented Alex Chisholm, Technical Director of LK Group. "Customers have been crying out to get design data direct from their CAD system. With the CATIA V5 InterOp product from Spatial this is now a reality for LK customers. This has been achieved without the need to purchase another CATIA V5 license (or sacrifice an existing one) and without having to train Inspection Programmer in the CATIA V5 product."

"Spatial is committed to providing superior InterOp solutions and our ability to deliver a native CATIA V5 product is just one example of our commitment to excellence," said Keith Mountain, vice president of marketing for Spatial. "LK Group's reputation in the CMM market and their desire to provide a superior and market-leading CMM CAD programming solution is a great match for our technology."
