FISHER/UNITECH Acquires Devtron Russell's SolidWorks Business Unit; Transaction Confirms Company's Leadership Position as the Largest SolidWorks Reseller in the Midwest

TROY, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 2003--FISHER/UNITECH, a leading engineering technologies firm serving the Great Lakes region, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Devtron Russell's SolidWorks business unit. Devtron Russell Inc., based in Gladwin, Michigan, had been a SolidWorks reseller providing integrated solutions for design automation.

Effective immediately, Devtron Russell Inc. will transition the support, sales and service component of their SolidWorks business to FISHER/UNITECH. Ed Russell, president and co-founder of Devtron Russell, will join FISHER/UNITECH.
