Classroom Style Technology Briefings
For educators, architects, builders, or those involved in construction, Avatech is presenting a free full-day, in-depth Technology Briefing in 20 cities during May 13 to June 6. New and enhanced features of Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2004 will be revealed including Scheduling Enhancements, Materials and Project Manager.

Live Webcasts, Directly From the Desktop
Participants can join Avatech live from their desktops for a series of free, 45-minute webcasts, as listed below.

Autodesk Land Desktop (May 13) – A webcast will be presented for educators, civil engineers, surveyors, or land developers, featuring the latest and greatest of Autodesk Land Desktop 2004. This session will highlight how to turn road design into a surface model and contour it with one command, perform vertical alignment edits, utilize the land XML reporting function and learn drag-and-drop hatching.

Autodesk Revit 5 (May 14) – Avatech will demonstrate the newest product as part of Autodesk’s building information model solution for building design and documentation: Autodesk Revit. This is a great opportunity for architects, design-build teams, and other building industry professionals who want to spend less time on tedious documentation tasks, want better coordinated construction documents, and want more control over the quality of their work.

Cyco Software AutoManager Meridian/AutoCAD 2004 (May 15) – Participants will learn how manufacturing, architectural, and engineering firms can leverage Engineering Document Management (EDM), to vastly improve revision control, document security, and workflow processes.

Autodesk Inventor /Proof Positive (May 20) –A webcast highlighting Proof Positive, Avatech’s software that revolutionizes the ability to control CAD standards and model integrity within Autodesk Inventor software, will demonstrate how participants can manage CAD standards and substantially reduce cycle times, rework and costs.
