This solution also enables suppliers, business allies, and customers to collaborate in a web-centric extended enterprise across all stages of the product lifecycle.
"With our artwork and packaging implementation of Teamcenter at P&G, we've seen several examples of significant reduction in cycle time, an increase in productivity of 2 to 3 times in certain businesses, and expect a dramatic reduction in artwork design costs," said Tom Massung, associate director, IT Business Solutions -- PLM, Procter & Gamble. "We're working with EDS to bring these kinds of efficiencies to our entire global business, our network of suppliers, business partners and customers, helping EDS PLM Solutions to establish Teamcenter Consumer and Packaged Goods as a standard in the industry."
