ParAccel and Autometrics Announce OEM Partnership


SAN DIEGO & NEW YORK—(BUSINESS WIRE)—April 6, 2009— ParAccel, Inc., provider of the ParAccel Analytic Database, a high-speed, low-effort, massively parallel (MPP) columnar database management system (DBMS) for data warehousing and analytics, and Autometrics, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider of data quality management and business intelligence (BI) solutions for marketing insights, today announced an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement.

After an extensive evaluation of database platforms, Autometrics selected the ParAccel Analytic Database running on Dell servers as the DBMS platform for the next-generation Autometrics SaaS BI solution. Autometrics’ customers include many large, global clients such as Travelocity and Sofitel who subscribe to Autometrics to obtain critical insights into their brands, markets, customers, products and services. It is expected that all client accounts will be migrated to the new Autometrics SaaS platform.
