Engineous Software and HP Host Online Course To Help Improve Design for Six Sigma Strategies



CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 2003--Engineous Software, provider of integration, automation, and design optimization software, and related strategic services, announced today the availability of a new eCOURSE class, Six Sigma in the Design Process.

The online event, co-sponsored by HP, will focus on using Design for Six Sigma to improve productivity and product quality.

"Many companies' Six Sigma strategies are focused on identifying and measuring problems in the manufacturing phase of their products," said Janet C. Wylie, Engineous CEO. "It can be incredibly expensive, however, to address these problems during manufacturing or later. The course illustrates how to use Design for Six Sigma strategies, and how companies can enhance the performance and quality of their products. The course is offered in two online sessions. Attendees choose: Session 1 - March 10 or 11, Session 2 - March 12 or 13.
