RAND Worldwide? Earns Recognition As John Deere "Supplier of the Year"

Mississauga, Ont., February 3, 2003 - Rand A Technology Corporation [TSX:
RND], operating as RAND Worldwide (the "Company"), has earned recognition as
Supplier of the Year for 2002 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program
from Deere & Company. The Mississauga, Ontario-based company was selected
for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and

improvement. Previously, it was announced that the Company was recognized as
a "Partner-level supplier" under the same program.

Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated

management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure
of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991
to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes

our team than to be recognized as the number one supplier to one of the

President of RAND Worldwide's technical education group.
