"Our latest release has a strong focus on expanding the engineering tools in our suite while continuing to make them easier to use," says J.P. Evans, Vice President of Product Development and Marketing for Engineous Software. "Most of the new features in version 3.0 are a direct result of user feedback from hands-on usability testing conducted in 2007. We delivered the user's feedback to an internal team that was tasked with designing the features that would meet usability requirements. This effort was part of our continuing objective to put powerful engineering tools into the hands of more users, providing a solution that scales seamlessly from the desktop to the engineering enterprise."
New product features will be demonstrated at the 2008 Engineous Software European Symposium & Seminar Series April 14th and 15th. The event, co-sponsored by IBM, Siemens PLM, CD-adapco and Landmark Systems, a division of Halliburton will showcase leading manufacturing companies from around the world. Expected participants include Airbus, Avio, BMW, Canon, Ford Motor Company, MTU, Nissan, PSA, Rolls-Royce, Skoda Auto, Sony, Thales Alenia Space and others. The event will be held in Munich, Germany at the Sheraton Munich Arabellapark Hotel.
"Our 2008 Symposium will be the largest event we have ever hosted in Europe," says Janet C. Wylie, President and CEO of Engineous Software. "In 2007, we focused more resources in Europe and the UK and it paid off with significant revenue growth. Our decision to host an international event in Munich is a reflection of our commitment to continue to expand our presence in this market."
