Steele has been appointed President by the board of directors. "I am very pleased to announce the promotion of Timothy R. Steele today," said Chief Executive Officer & Founder, Christopher Poirier. "I have worked closely with Tim for the past six months in developing the company's strategic direction. Tim has been the driving force in the market acceptance of Resinate Materials Advisor (RMA) applications," said Poirier. Mr. Steele has served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing since March 2002. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Americas Indirect Channel at PTC, the product development company. "With Tim in place as president and running operations, I will be able to focus my efforts on molding the strategic direction of the company as we continue to build relationships with our strategic partners, and analysts. Providing industry awareness as to the need of automating material selection in the design process is critical," concluded Poirier.

About Resinate Corporation:

Resinate's core product, RMA, offers a broad array of features that enhance the ability of executives, managers and designers to automate material selection directly within their design environment. This eliminates the antiquated need for manuals, historical reference & the disperse internet sites. Features of RMA include: "Material Collaboration", which is the ability to attach a material file directly to a part, thereby enabling collaboration amongst the design team and facilitating delivery of mission critical material data to downstream applications such as FEA. "Property Wildcards", enabling users to search one hundred plus independent material properties. "Resin Equivalents" allows the design engineer to enter in a plastic of their choice then query RMA's extensive Microsoft SQL server database to find an "equivalent" material of equal or greater value for their design.

Since RMA's introduction to the market last spring, Resinate has secured twenty five of the leading MCAD VARs, provided deeper integration into Pro/E, Inventor & SolidWorks, and has successfully sold to firms of all sizes, including F1000 accounts such as: Abbott Labs, Nova Biomedical, Teradyne, Millipore, Georgia Pacific, OhMeda Medical, and GE Industrial Systems to name a few. RMA presents a clear benefit to any company in an industry where plastic is essential to their design. This benefit can be achieved with low risk due to Resinate's low cost of implementation and ownership; $1,990 per seat and $495 for maintenance, enterprise server pricing available.
