Munich, 09/05/2007 - PE-WALLCHECK is the Pro/ENGINEER check tool for wall thickness in parts and clearances between assembly components.
The latest version PE-WALLCHECK 5.0 features a completely redesigned operational concept and a new streamlined user interface. Fresh users benefit from the integrated configuration assistant guiding them towards an optimum check configuration, while experienced users continue to use the simplified and quick direct configuration. A completely new visualization of the check results displays the wall thickness condition directly in the 3D model. To support systematic documentation, every check result can be categorized as error, warning, etc., and provided with a comment via the newly integrated classification. The check results are documented at the push of a button in a PDF report including graphics, the minimum and respectively maximum wall thickness, as well as the comment.
The proven check and analysis tool PE-WALLCHECK saves considerable time over the visual inspection of wall thickness in 3D models. Even for the most complex models, fast and complete checks are enabled throughout the design process. The direct integration to Pro/ENGINEER and the display of results in the 3D model facilitate a quick correction. Thus, the compliance with the required wall thickness is assured and documented in early stages of the product development cycle. Checks can be run on solid and surface models, as well as fragmented geometry imported via STEP, IGES, etc.
