Doosan Infracore embeds MachineWorks™
SHEFFIELD (July 16, 2007) – MachineWorks Ltd, supplier of the CNC simulation software announced today that the Korean leading machine tool manufacturer, Doosan Infracore will be integrating MachineWorks toolkit within Doosan CNC machines.
4 delegates from the Doosan Infracore visited MachineWorks to sign a collaboration contract and undergo training to use MachineWorks’ made-in-Sheffield technology within their first-class CNC machine tools.
There is a greater need for simulation in the manufacturing world due to the increasing complexity of CNC machining. Progressive machine tool builders such as Doosan Infracore are looking to provide the much-needed simulation.
Because of this demand for simulation within the machine tool environment, MachineWorks is putting an even greater effort into the areas of accuracy and real time simulation. “We believe that true solid 3D simulation will become a standard feature on all controllers in the near future ,” says Mike Nicholson, Sales & Marketing Director.
MachineWorks’ core technology specialises in simulation of material removal and clash and gouge detection of any type of CNC machining. This system is extremely advanced and contributes enormously to the efficiency and accuracy of the machining process , saving time and money.
