Manchester, UK. 8 June, 2006. – Icona Solutions Ltd, developers of the unique, real-time geometric tolerance simulation and visualization software suite, aesthetica, has begun customer shipments of its new JT Open data import module for the reliable transfer of 3D product model data directly into the aesthetica environment, improving the final fit-and-finish quality analysis process for automotive vehicle exteriors and interiors.
Icona Solutions joined the JT Open Program as an ISV (independent software vendor) in March this year.

Icona Solutions’ aesthetica software provides an accurate, visual simulation of the effects of component variation, assembly variation and component deformation in manufactured assemblies in order to resolve issues of fit and finish quality.
