Keynote Speaker to Address Big Data in Manufacturing at GFMC Event

McLean, Va., September 27, 2016 – Uday Tennety, director of strategic engagement and innovation at General Electric, will present on big-data analytics and how today’s manufacturers benefit during his keynote address at the upcoming Global Forecasting & Marketing Conference (GFMC). Hosted by AMT –The Association For Manufacturing Technology, the GFMC takes place October 19–21 in Miami, Florida, at the Trump National Doral Miami.

In his presentation, Tennety will offer his expert insights into how big data analytics are transforming human and machine interactions to push gains in efficiency, accelerate productivity and help manufacturers achieve overall operational excellence. He will discuss the forces that drive the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT); the problems the IIoT solves for manufacturers in industries such as aerospace, transportation and oil and gas; and the current state and outlook of networked machines within the industrial ecosystem.

Tennety manages the strategic client engagements at the GE Digital division and also leads a customer innovation and co-creation center called the Design Center. He has over 15 years of experience in providing enterprise software solutions to clients in industries ranging from telecom, retail and insurance to finance, banking and software.
