Campaign kicks off this week in Times Square with public service announcement aimed at reducing the stigma attached to substance abuse
DEERFIELD, Ill., Nov. 11, 2010 — (PRNewswire) — In honor of Veterans Day and to kick off an effort to help de-stigmatize substance abuse, Siemens and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are launching a public service campaign intended to remind us that "not all wounds are physical" and that "it takes the courage and strength of a warrior" to ask for help. The announcement will be broadcast for 10 days beginning on November 11 on an electronic super sign overlooking New York's Times Square.
