Tomasic’s In-Depth Knowledge of Strategic Sales and Marketing Demonstrates Synergis’ Strong Commitment to Growing Autodesk-based Solutions and Professional Services
Quakertown, PA, August 13, 2003 – Synergis Technologies, Inc., the premiere Autodesk Solutions Provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, announced today the appointment of Kristen Tomasic as vice president of its Autodesk Commercial Solutions Division. Based out of Synergis’ corporate headquarters in Quakertown, Tomasic will be responsible for expanding the company’s Autodesk commercial sales and services operation for Manufacturing, Building Systems, Infrastructure, and Government; leading the Autodesk-based sales and marketing team; and spearheading strategic initiatives for growing the company’s professional services and partner product offerings, including the Synergis’ flagship design and data management solution, Synergis Adept. Tomasic will report directly to CEO David B. Sharp, III and will co-architect business development plans with Directors of training, network and technical support services, industry solutions, process automation and consulting services.
“Kristen's strong contributions to the Commercial Solutions Division as Sales Director has earned her the promotion to Vice President of the company’s largest division,” said David Sharp, Synergis president and CEO. “She is highly respected by every one of her peers and her sales team members, and, in her two years with us, Kristen has already developed and successfully deployed a much more effective sales process focused on providing true value to Synergis' customers in these challenging economic times. With her new role and responsibilities, Kristen can now orchestrate and leverage all our resources and expertise in ways that will make our customers significantly more productive, competitive and profitable.”
During her previous years at Synergis, from 2000 to 2003, Tomasic successfully directed the Autodesk sales and marketing team to achieve 12% growth in gross profit and achieve Autodesk’s Platinum Club Status at 117% of vertical sales targets. She was also instrumental in developing new business relationships with Autodesk Third Party vendors such as COADE, 4D Technologies, Informatix Software, Elysium, COSMOS, and Automated Technology Solutions.
Prior to joining Synergis, Tomasic spent eleven years in sales management, marketing management, and sales operations planning at Xerox Corporation in the Northeast Major Account Operations. Her areas of responsibilities included sales performance management, sales productivity and participation analysis, sales process management, major account contract negotiation, enterprise-wide solution selling, project management and marketing and communications. In July of 2000, Anne Mulcahy, the then COO of Xerox Corporation, recognized Tomasic for her Outstanding Leadership Behavior and Knowledge Sharing Practices.
“I am honored to have been appointed to this role at Synergis,” said Kristen Tomasic. “We have an incredible and knowledgeable staff of network and application engineers, programmers and solutions experts who are well versed in Autodesk applications and complimentary solutions. Synergis’ strategic advantage is our people and I believe that with an expanded services offering, Synergis will continue to provide our customers superior training, consulting, technical support, and process automation services.”
