Quickparts has taken the power of their QuickQuote instant quoting engine and placed it inside the Browser Panel of the Autodesk Inventor modeling environment. Now, Autodesk Inventor users can get instant quotes for the manufacture of their part without leaving the Inventor modeling environment.

QuickQuote for Inventor provides users with an easy format to quote and buy Rapid Prototypes, Cast Urethanes, CNC Machined Parts, Metal Castings, Sheet Metal Parts, Injection Mold Tooling and Metal Castings.

Users receive instant quotes for Rapid Prototypes, Cast Urethanes, and Wax Patterns by defining the process, quantity, finish, and lead-time. For the Pre-production and Production processes, QuickQuote for Inventor allows the user to submit offline quote requests. Upon clicking "Buy Your Parts", the add-in automatically converts and transmits the native CAD data to the Quickparts server via 128-bit SSL secure socket technology.

Users have the freedom to perform unlimited what-if scenarios without leaving the CAD environment. Only when the user selects the �Buy Your Part� button are the native CAD and STL data transmitted over a secure connection to the Quickparts servers. From there, the user can complete the order or choose to email, print, or save the quote.
