RAND Worldwide Earns Recognition as a John Deere “Partner-Level Supplier”

Honored Eight Years Running

WALTHAM, Mass. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — March 3, 2010 — RAND Worldwide, a global leader in providing technology solutions to organizations with engineering design and information technology requirements, announced it has earned recognition, for the eighth consecutive year, as a Partner-level supplier for 2009 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program.

The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. RAND Worldwide was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing engineering services of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement.

RAND Worldwide supplies customized Pro/ENGINEER training services to John Deere’s operations at several sites across North America and Europe.

Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.

“We are honored to have earned recognition for the outstanding quality of our engineering services for the eighth consecutive year," said Joe Oswald, Executive Vice President, PLM Operations. “We are pleased to have this partnership with John Deere to provide them with our high-quality custom training solutions.”
