Transmagic R4 Features New Assembly Support

CATIA V5 and Unigraphics Assemblies Added

WESTMINSTER, Colo., June 10, 2003 — TransMagic, makers of stand-alone 3D CAD translation software products, today announced R4 for TransMagic and TransMagic Plus products.

In addition to file translation improvements, R4 now reads assemblies for all supported CAD types including CATIA V4, CATIA V5, Unigraphics and Pro/ENGINEER. Other highlights include Auto Repair for IGES files, a new assembly browser, expanded Help documentation, more efficient application architecture and better memory management.

TransMagic R4 builds on previous features and functions through a new graphics foundation that allows for the addition of many new visualization options and tools. New features include enhanced large model visualization, a dynamic section-cutting tool, new tool bars and annotation options.
