nCode Software Used for Durability Analysis at John Deere

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2003--The most rugged agricultural and construction equipment is now being designed worldwide with durability software by nCode International.

Deere & Company will use nSoft(TM) and FE-Fatigue(TM) as a durability analysis standard in its global organization.

nSoft transforms measured or predicted time series data into validated engineering information so customers can quickly and accurately set loading targets. FE-Fatigue enables engineers to evaluate the fatigue performance of their designs early in the development cycle.

"FE-Fatigue integrates seamlessly with Fedem Simulation Software(TM), which is used for virtual testing of the dynamic and structural properties of a mechanical design," said Kevin Knill, nCode's vice president of product development.

nCode's software allows engineers to design products that are able to withstand the most rigorous operation. "It helps our customers to introduce new products more quickly, while maintaining safety and reliability standards," Knill added.

"nCode has been working closely with Deere's design staff for many years, customizing software for specific applications, says Brian Dabell, chairman and CEO of nCode International.

"It's gratifying to know that our solutions fit so well for one of our primary customers. Deere's commitment to use software from nCode validates their confidence in our ability to serve their needs."
