CEA Systems, Inc. donates software and support valued at $2.4 million to SAIT Polytechnic
CALGARY (June 9)- CEA Systems, Inc. has signed a five-year agreement to donate the Plant-4D® Design Suite Professional to SAIT Polytechnic for use in the Process Piping and Drafting Fast Track program, Continuing Education courses as well as Corporate Training. Students at SAIT will get hands-on experience by learning on a leading industry tool.

CEA’s Plant- 4D® Design Suite Professional is a flexible solution based on open data, object-oriented technology that enables data sharing and interaction between all disciplines. It provides a work process foundation for integration, interoperability and collaboration across the entire engineering design, construction and plant operation lifecycle. The donation of Plant-4D® Suite Professional, instructor training, annual maintenance and upgrades totals $2.4 million over the 5-year agreement

The Process Piping and Drafting Fast Track program focuses on design skills coupled with a practical knowledge of processing equipment and project specifications. It is a 33-week, full-time program that consists of 29 weeks of instruction in the classroom and a 4-week work practicum. Continuing Education courses run in both evening and seminar format while Corporate Training courses can be customized to meet client needs.
