Becoming More Productive

Foiling Dies Made Easy

Overcoming Marine Challenges

Adding PartMaker CAM software has enabled Encoder Products Company to boost its output significantly, a big benefit to any company that competes on the global engineering stage. "The productivity improvements we’ve seen using PartMaker have been incredible,” remarked Production Manager, Todd Egland.

Independent publisher Michael O’Mara Books required a complex and pioneering cover-for-case block design for ‘The Books’ series. To rise to the challenge and secure this business, Clays Ltd, the book manufacturer needed foiling dies they could rely on to provide a reliable and seam-free process between receiving copy and the finished books.

The manufacture of marine models and moulds poses special challenges because of the size of the final parts. One company using Delcam software to overcome these challenges is Lanulfi, which is based in Monticello Count Otto, near Vicenza, in Italy. It has replaced traditional modelling techniques for the construction of physical prototypes and for the production of moulds.

Million Dollar Contract

Accuracy at Every Stage

Delcam Partners at MACH

Delcam’s FeatureCAM CAM system has helped Moscow Mills Manufacturing of Moscow, Vermont, along with partner company Foster-Miller, Inc., from Waltham, Massachusetts, to win a $1 million dollar contract from the United States Marine Corps Systems Command Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate.

"Successful manufacture of composite components requires high accuracy at every stage that can only be provided by high-quality CAM software like Delcam’s PowerMILL.” So claims engineer Luciano Invernizzi, from CBS, an Italian company specialising in the manufacture of advanced composites for the aerospace and automotive industry.

As befits its position as the world’s leading CAM specialist, Delcam will be promoting its CAM and inspection software with more than 35 partners at the MACH exhibition to be held in Birmingham from 21st to 25th April. Partners include many of the world’s leading providers of machine tools, cutting tools and inspection equipment.
