    ROCK HILL, S.C.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—April 9, 2008— 3D Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: TDSC), a leading provider of 3-D Modeling, Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing solutions, announced today that Nihon Weed of Tokyo, Japan, has purchased a Sinterstation(R) Pro 230 SLS(R) System to meet its customers' increasing demand for functional, durable automotive parts.

    Already experiencing success with a 3D Systems' SLA(R) 7000 System, Nihon Weed has expanded its Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing capabilities with a Sinterstation(R) Pro 230 SLS(R) System to produce large prototypes within hours or days for its automotive customers.
