Dovetail Delivers novo for Manufacturing

SHREWSBURY, Mass.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—March 27, 2008— Dovetail Internet Technologies, LLC announced today the availability of novo for Manufacturing, a fully capable system designed to help manufacturers connect directly with their customers and dealers to execute all facets of business online. A solution like this would allow a manufacturer to get products online and distributed quickly and easily without losing valuable time maneuvering the technical facets of website content management.

Dovetail's novo - the word means change, refresh and revitalize in Latin - uses a database back-end, which means the system isolates content from design, creating a simplified process for providing content updates. This type of approach is beneficial since by creating a distinction between design and content, site managers can focus their energies on updating the site while not concerning themselves with the intricacies of the design elements.

Dovetail's novo was first launched last June, and is in use by numerous customers including: creative service agencies, banks and manufacturers. At that time, novo for Banking was made available due to the high demand from customers for managing B2B and B2C content, such as the fast pace of interest rate changes. novo for Manufacturing is the second industry specific novo solution released this year and will be available to customers beginning early next month.

"We've had numerous customers come to us for help with keeping their fast-paced, ever-changing websites current, without demanding a lot of technical programming skill," said Michael Villa, President and Founder of Dovetail. "Dovetail software meets the challenges of customers' businesses head-on. Collectively, our team has more than 130 years of industry specific experience in the fields of finance, technology and manufacturing."

We're not interested in providing simple web tools - there are many companies who do that quite well. We founded novo to provide comprehensive industry solutions--ones that have big ROI. We're certainly seeing this in novo for Banking and now through novo for Manufacturing."

Manufacturers using SYSPRO ERP manufacturing solution can leverage all of the flexibility that novo for Manufacturing can offer by integrating another Dovetail Internet technology: Cyberstore for SYSPRO, an end-to-end website engine to sell stock items online with a real-time, integrated e-commerce shopping cart. Dovetail President and Founder, Michael J. Villa, will be speaking at the SYSPRO End-User conference on the value proposition of linking novo with SYSPRO's widely used ERP solution.

Dovetail Internet will also be exhibiting and offering demos of novo for Manufacturing at the SYSPRO End-User Conference being held April 7-10 in Orlando.

Dovetail's novo for Manufacturing offers all of the features of novo which allows users to alter website content, independent of page design, with the addition of manufacturing specific capability such as: a materials database, sales goals and tracking tools and technical specs of materials - updated real time online
