Mashup Technologies Gain Momentum in European Enterprises

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Mar 13, 2008 -- Kapow Technologies, the expert in harvesting mashable public and private web intelligence with software that turns the web into the world's largest database, announced that it has signed definitive documents to complete a Series-C financing round of U.S. $11.6 million. As a new investor and licensor of Kapow's software, we look forward to helping the company fulfill its potential."

Kapow Technologies Wins JOLT Award; Achieves Significant Milestones

Kapow Technologies was notified last week that it has won the prestigious 2008 JOLT Award for outstanding software development in the Enterprise Tools Category. Regarded as the "Oscars®" of the software industry, the JOLT Awards recognize software products, books, and websites that have achieved excellence in the areas of functionality, usability, problem-solving and innovation. The JOLTs winners are determined by a hands-on lab-review selection process conducted by many of the top software experts in the world.

The JOLT award comes on the heels of closing the most successful year to date for Kapow Technologies. Among its many accomplishments in 2007, Kapow Technologies rolled out three new versions of the Kapow Mashup Server, and expanded its management team and operations in Asia, Europe and the United States. It also signed 80 new customers, closed its first million-dollar sale, and was covered in the United States' Wall Street Journal for its success with Audi.
